He is survived by: his uncle Joe; his sister Carol Zagagli; and his children, Joseph Serra, Jr. (CT), Erica Lavorgna (CT), Lisa Yolen (FL), Cheryl Serra (NC) and Darryl Serra (CT). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
