It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jorge Luis Rosa Alago of Coatesville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Jorge Luis Rosa farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jorge Luis Rosa is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his wife Teresa Jane Showalter Rosa; his father Almiran Rosa; and his brother Norberto Rosa. He is survived by: his mother Mariana Alago of Puerto Rico; his sons, Vernon Showalter of South Coatesville, Jorge L. Rosa, Jr. of Downingtown, PA and Tomas Rosa (Faith Rosa) of South Coatesville; his grandchildren, Jaden M. Gibbs, Kamryn Parker, Xavier Rosa, Tristan Rosa and Ariana Cannon; and his sister Lydia Rosa Alago of Puerto Rico.
