He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice Hayes (Barnett) and Job C. "Bud" Hayes; and his grandson Justin Hayes. He is survived by: his sons, Jay C. Hayes Jr. (Dawn) of Coatesville and Timothy Hayes (Gigi) of Coatesville; his grandchildren, Shannon Butcher (Ty), Jocelyn Brody (Shane), Rebekah Waltz, Alex Hayes (Alyse), Samantha Ostrow (Matt) and Lydia Reed (Jordan); and his sister Marnie Hershey (Fred) of Coatesville. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
