He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse W. Knight Sr. and Essie Mae Cunningham; and his siblings, Jesse W. Knight II, Gregory Knight, Shirley Knight and Cynthia Lucas.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth "Lizzy" Knight, Rebecca "Becky" Knight-Triplett, Deric "Ricky" Knight (Jen) and Daniel "Dan" Knight Sr.; his son-in-law Bradley Triplett; his siblings, Richard Knight Sr., Nancy Kenner, Mabel Spann, Emma Knight, Beverly Thomas and Constance Knight-Knight; his brothers-in-law, Milton Kenner, Michael Thomas and Earl Knight; and his grandchildren, Daniel Jr., Adrianna, Devonte, Kaliyah and Michael. He is also survived by his family and friends.
