He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Barlow and Nellie Mae Beard; his son Robert Beard; and his siblings, Shirley Rohrer, Marvel St. Andrassy, Emerson Beard, Earl Beard, Dale Beard and Melvin Beard.
He is survived by: his wife Emma L. Frame Beard; his children, Vicci Eidell (Barry) of Pottstown, Melissa Beard (Mark Miller) of Coatesville, Bryon Beard (Kriss) of Caln and Shawnté Wilson of Coatesville; and his siblings, Harold Beard, Nancy Cook, Kary Beard, Eugene Beard, Lillian Frank, Lawrence Beard and Joanne Martin. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
