We are sad to announce that on February 25, 2022, at the age of 74, Frederick W. Schmidt (Coatesville, Pennsylvania), born in Audubon, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his sister Carol; his brother-in-law Michael; his nephew Daniel (Raquel); his great-nephews, Lucas and Logan; his cousins, Daniel and Colleen; and also Alexander (Lauren).

“Fred was a very dear friend of mine. We met at IBM and have been friends since. I found out about his death in May. I found this site tonight. It wasn't uncommon for a couple weeks to go by without hearing from him but when we approached a month I started to worry and started looking. I will miss him dearly. He meant the world to me. Love and strawberry candies to you my dear friend. I will miss you always. Sheila Picture is from a 2006 trip that I took with Fred to Longwood Gardens”
