He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Boninu and Giovania Boninu (Ferrie). He is survived by: his children, Donna Groce (Dean) of Coatesville and Dean Boninu (Kathy) of Coatesville; his siblings, Leon Boninu of Coatesville and Maria Boninu of Coatesville; his grandchildren, Melanie Esch, Michele Contreras, Esch, Gianna Boninu, Dane Groce and Dena Boninu; and his siblings, Salvatore "Benny" Boninu and Augustine "Gus" Boninu. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
