He is survived by: his wife Jessica Gilmore Simmers; his daughters, Kimberly Simmers Spotts (Michael), Swarner and Jennifer Simmers Boninu (Steve); and his grandchildren, Aeriale, Jesse Spotts and Jewel Boninu.
