He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Coover and Eleanor Coover Townsend (Summersgill); his wife Helene R. (Fleming); and his sisters, Helen Thomas and Emily Townsend.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Coover (Debi) of Honey Brook, Jill Scott (Charles) of Parkesburg, Steven Coover of Rincon, GA, Michael Coover of Coatesville, Lawrence Coover of Honey Brook and Tracy Finegan (Jerry) of Narvon; and his brother William Townsend of Hamburg. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and five step-great-grandchildren.
