He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred McComsey and Helen McComsey (Reynolds); and his siblings, Shirley Ann Thomas, Paul McComsey and Dolly Stanley.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirlann E. McComsey (Irons); his children, Earl McComsey (Margaret) of Malvern, Christopher McComsey, Shannon Trout (Steven) of Peach Bottom, Jason Yost of Chester, MA and Sara Plaugher (Shawn) of Downingtown; his brother Leroy McComsey; his grandchildren, Earl, Kyle, Torrey, Shaylein, Kayla, Anthony, Heather, Bella, Sorrel, Riley and Skylar; and his great grandchildren, Samantha, Layah, Savannah, Kaylin and Kane.
