He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Luther Byrd and Viola Mary Wilcoxson Byrd; and his brother-in-law Robert Benson. He is survived by: his sisters, Juanda Kay Benson of Palo Alto, CA, Patty Ruth Bonuccelli (Edward) of Fort Bragg, CA and Linda C. Rice (Scott) of Parkesburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Harrison Senior Living, 300 Strode Ave., Coatesville, PA 19320 where Donald was treated with wonderful care. Donations may also be made to Holisticare Hospice, 985 Old Eagle School Rd., Suite 504, Wayne, PA 19087 who offered Don dignity, comfort, and respect in his final days.
