He was predeceased by: his wife Marie B. Matson; and his son Timothy Matson. He is survived by: his children, Joe Matson, James Matson, Colleen Hutton and Kristina Sweet; and his children-in-law, Allison Matson, Joe Hutton and Jeff Sweet.
