He was predeceased by: his wife Helen M. Wilson Pratt; his parents, Thomas F. Pratt and Mary Katherine Rissel Pratt; his son Carl R. Pratt Jr.; and his siblings, Frances Hagen, Harriet Hartranft, John Pratt, Mary McGinnis, Franklin Pratt, Isabel Martin, Lela Martin, George Pratt, Martha Pratt, William Pratt, Herman Pratt and Arthur Pratt.

He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara P. Brown of Wagontown and Patricia; and his grandchildren, Allison Brown Lemon, Michael Brown, Brandon, Kaitlyn, McFadden and Nicole Pratt. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
