He was predeceased by: his father Jack H. Thompson; and his niece Taylor Jayne. He is survived by: his mother Mildred W. Thompson (Wagner) of Osceola Mills, PA; his children, Jessica Dean (Craig) of Douglasville, GA, Jeremy D. Thompson of West Decatur, PA and Craig A. Thompson of Smoke Run, PA; his sisters, Pamela A. Holdren (Jon) of State College, PA and Tracee N. Thompson (LeRoy Brown) of Houtzdale, PA; and his grandchildren, Brandon Dean, Brantley Dean and Jessa Dean.
