He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Bachert and Esther Reichelderfer Bachert; and his siblings, Harry Reichelderfer and Doris Banavage. He is survived by: his wife Bethany Bachert; his sons, Robert Bachert of Tamaqua, PA, Michael Bachert of Tamaqua, PA and James Bachert (Tammy) of Tamaqua, PA; his grandchildren, Caitlin Haller and Adam Bachert of Tamaqua; his sister-in-law Megan Reichelderfer; his nephews, Harry Reichelderfer (Anna Marie) and Bruce Banavage; and his niece Megan Ann. He is also survived by numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
