It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sam V. Pittello of Coal Township, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Pittello and Theresa Pittello (Nestico); his wife Theresa I. Wysock of Patrick's Church; and his siblings, Victoria Toth, Charlie, Dominic, Tony and Joe Pittello.
He is survived by: his children, Dominic Pittello (Jill) of Elysburg and Maryann Cantiello (Domenic) of Limerick. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.
Viewing will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Church of the Holy Angels (855 Scott St, Kulpmont, PA 17834). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 12:45 PM.
