He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin F. Straub and Elsie L. Straub Sr. (Foust). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Straub; his children, Andrew Hassinger (Jen), Ryan Knopp (Veronica), Misty Straub and Madison Straub; his grandchildren, McKenna Knopp, Nevaeh Katalinas, Xavier Katalinas, Kender Knopp and Bently Knopp; and his close friend Butch McCabe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are being graciously accepted by his family to help defray his final expenses.
