He is survived by: his parents, Jane Klembara and Michael Klembara; his wife Anita Klembara (Aylmer); his daughters, Michaela and Julia; and his siblings, Andrew, Melissa Klembara and Jennifer Klembara Gubernot. He is also survived by his twelve nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a scholarship for local athletes is being set up in Michael's name.
