He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marie Erdman (Schleig) and Charles M. Erdman; his wife Patricia J. Backes; and his siblings, Terry Erdman (Michele) of Woodbine, Maryland, Nancy Madden of Coal Township, Jennifer Woland (Bill) of Watsontown, Kenneth, Dennis and Ronald Erdman. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
