She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles R. Shields and Patricia Ann Shields (Stahl); and her siblings, Cheryl Detwiler, Mark Shields and Barbara Shields.

She is survived by: her siblings, David Shields of Indiana, Jeffrey Shields (Rita) of Heilwood and Kimberly Naugle (Butch). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
