James R. Barnes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Barnes of Clymer, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James R. Barnes to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Neal and Olive Amanda Barnes (Lawhead); his son Roger; his daughter-in-law Connie Barnes; his granddaughter Brook Rae; and his siblings, David, Charles, Aurther, Virginia, Marjorie and Rose Mary.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Louise Barnes (Bracken); his children, Daniel Barnes (Patti) of Clymer, Debra Stiffler (Gene) of Troy, PA, James Barnes Jr. (Becky) of Orange, VA and Kristina Buterbaugh (Ricky) of Clymer; and his siblings, Kathleen and Dennis. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the McCabe-Roof Funeral Home (565 Franklin St, Clymer, PA 15728). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
