He is survived by: his wife Gloria "Jean" Boozel of Clintonville; his friend Ray Bechtel; his children, Mitchell Smyth (Tammy), Kathy McBride (Jason), Michael Smyth (Dawn Hanaway) and Charles Smyth (Christina); his grandchildren, Krista Stewart (Cody), Emily Smyth, Jackson Smyth, Kaici McBride, Jacob McBride (Megan), Joshua McBride (Emily), Kaden Hanaway, Brooke Hanaway, Braden Smyth, Landon Smyth, Rylan Smyth and Greylan Smyth; and his great grandchildren, Caroline, Grace and Noah.
