He was predeceased by: his parents, George A. Adams and Marie Brown Adams; and his siblings, Janet, Joyce and John S. Adams.

He is survived by: his former wife Ruth Jane Christy; his wife Janie Shellhammer; his stepchild His; his sister Diana Redman (Jack) of Mercer; and his grandchildren, Michelle, Renae, Alicia, Paula, Laura, Lynn, Paul Jr., Yvonne, Sue, Jason, Jessica, Matt, Samantha, Steven, Brian, Hannah and Eddie.

The family suggest memorial donations be sent in Buck's honor to East End Fire Department, 104 Wilson Ave, Mercer PA 16137.
