He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Campbell and Leona McFadden Campbell; his son Gary Campbell; his brother George Campbell; and his half-brother Merle McFadden.

He is survived by: his wife Norma Jones; his daughter Brenda Campbell of Grove City; his siblings, Virginia Kober of Slippery Rock, Eldine Reddinger of Grove City and Keith Campbell of Texas; his grandchildren, Devin Shaffer, Lacee and Austin Shaffer; and his great grandchildren, Willow and Ruby Shaffer.
