He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Tanner and Dorthy Tanner (Coeney). He is survived by: his wife Rita Werner; his children, Kenneth A. Tanner (Roxanne) of West Sunbury and Jennifer L. Sorger (Richard) of Cambridge Springs; his grandchildren, Caleb E., Samantha I. Tanner, Nathan A. Sorger (Nicole) and Grace E. Sorger; and his siblings, George Tanner (Shirley) and Carol J. Coblentz.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Union Presbyterian Church (409 Emlenton St, Clintonville, PA 16372).
