He is survived by: his parent Pearl Mahaffey Hankey; his sons, William F. Jr. of Clinton and John F. Hankey (Sandy) of Clinton; his grandsons, John A. (Jennifer), Douglas P. and Christopher M. Hankey (Kelly); and his sisters, Ethel Werner of Weirton, WV. and Betty Kugler.
