He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sommers and Theresa Sommers; and his brothers, John Sommers and Robert Sommers. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Sommers (Ingram); his sister Anita Sommers; his children, Dianna Nieder (William), William Sommers, Richard Kaminski (Danielle), Dawn Maurer (Chuck) and Melissa Scully (Christopher); and his grandchildren, Brandon Sommers, Jamie Sommers, Chuck Maurer, Tiara Maurer, Tiona Maurer, CJ Workman, Jacob Kaminski, Daniel Kaminski, Teagan Scully and Zoe Scully. He is also survived by several great grandchildren as well as many friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc. (2640 Mill St, Aliquippa, PA 15001).
