With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Albert Speer of Clinton, Pennsylvania, born in Weirton, West Virginia, who passed away on October 20, 2021 at the age of 80. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Speer and Marion Speer; his brother Robert Speer; and his son Richard Speer (Ricky). He is survived by: his significant other Merna Riley; his children, Sherry Blackwood (Steve), Amy Medvid (John), Michelle Boyle, Patricia Goodwin (John IV), Sandy Deguel (Jerry), Betty Delp and Patrick Riley (Emily); and his brothers, Ross (Skip) and Roger Speer (Wendy). He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.
