We are sad to announce that on June 22, 2024, at the age of 81, John Haggerty of Clinton, Pennsylvania, born in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Haggerty and Margaret Haggerty (O'Hara); his siblings, Joseph Haggerty, Julia Ann Shino (George) and Kathryn Kelly (Jerry); and his brother-in-law John Komar.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret McDonough; his children, Christine Kwiatkowski (Wayne Maychek) of Waymart, Kevin Haggerty (Denise) of Honesdale, David Haggerty (Stephanie) of Pleasant Mount, Melissa Getz (James) of Waymart, Julie Farley (Pat) of Waymart and Shawn Haggerty (Christine) of Lakeville; his grandchildren, Connor, Jenna, Emily, Hayden, Preston, Katie, Matt, Liam, Grady, Michael, Kadie and Chris; his sisters, Rose Marie Komar and Ruth Ann Bonham (Bob) of Honesdale; and his sister-in-law JoAnne Haggerty of Honesdale. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
