He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Parson-Hufnagel (Ebsen); his children, Elizabeth L. MacLaughlin (Mac), Eleanor L. Arnold (Bob), Ernest L. Hufnagel, Jr., Stephen D. "Rusty" Hufnagel and Jennifer A. Collins (Tom); his stepchildren, John Cunningham, Joseph Scott, Jordan Parson and Lorna Woodhall; and his sister Janet R. Latshaw. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 1 great step-grandchild.
