She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Hozak and Anna Cerny Hozak; her husband John R. Buchanan; and her siblings, Daniel Hozak, Robert Hozak, Martin Hozak, Esther Littell and Evelyn Seanor.
She is survived by: her children, Anne Shirley Buchanan (Winfried Seelig) of Minnesota, Sylvia (Clifford), John (Cheryl Buchanan) of Maryland, Constance (Richard Purdy) of Clinton, James (Diane Buchanan) of Hookstown and Jeffrey (Shelley Buchanan) of Burgettstown; and her sister Vera McCoy. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.
