He was predeceased by: his parents, James David Burns, II and Marjorie A. Steele Burns; and his brother Jonathon Daniel Burns. He is survived by: his daughter Sarah; his son-in-law William Airgood; his grandchildren, Vivian, Jordan, Preston and Devin Airgood; his siblings, David Burns (Maria) and Joan Zeigler (Frank); his nieces and nephews, Debbie Zeigler, Kristi Dawicki-Zeigler, Brian Zeigler, Melissa Terry and David Burns; his aunt Barbara Steele (Lisa Ford Copenhaver); and his pets, Bella and Jasmine.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Swartz Givnish Funeral Home (323 Washington Ave, Newtown, PA 18940). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Old Saint Andrew R. C. Church (135 S Sycamore St, Newtown, PA 18940). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Olde Church of St. Andrew Newtown, PA (135 S Sycamore St, Newtown, PA 18940).
