He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Mallow and Fannie E. Mallow (Cunningham); his siblings, Paul, Richard, Glentice, William "Billy" Mallow and Madeline Horwath (Mallow); and his granddaughter Tori Lynn Horner.
He is survived by: his wife Janet L Mallow of Nashville, TN; his children, Jason Mallow of Clearville, PA, Jeffrey Mallow of Columbus, OH, Cheryl Kate Sheridan (Mallow) of Nashville, TN and Kimberly Horner (Keith) of Middleburg, FL; and his siblings, Dorothy Mallow, Robert Mallow (Elaine), Keith "Cootie" Mallow (Barbara), Greta Smith (Royal) and Wanda DeHaven (Terry). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
