She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenford William and Helen Josephine Hammond (Knoll); her son Samuel Smith; her brother Charles "Chuck" Hammond (Freda); and her brother-in-law Clifford Simmons.
She is survived by: her husband Norman J. "Jack" Carrigan; her sons, Todd Smith (Melissa) and Benjamin Temple; her stepdaughter Wendy Fray; her grandchildren, Skeet, Desiree, Alison, Grace and Mary Jane; and her sister Marlene Simmons. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
