He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Swisher and Althea Swisher (Carr); his former wife Verna Swisher; and his sisters, Margaret Jean Wighaman, Joyce Bowser, Barbara Strickland and Betty Freeburg.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Swisher (Lachat); his daughters, Sharon Cooney and Traci Robison (Andrew) of Clearfield; his grandchildren, Patrick Cooney, Denise Mooney (Travis) and Jacob Robison; his great grandchildren, Hayden and Dakota; and his stepchildren, Connie Hess of Clearfield, Cindy Ott (Randy) of Curwensville and Dave McBride of Clearfield. He is also survived by numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
