He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Jr. Franson and Margaret Franson (Shugarts); and his brothers, David E. (Carolyn I. "Lynn") and Carl Franson. He is survived by: his wife Maria K. Franson (Delposen); his children, Matthew C. Franson of Clearfield and Vicki Hunt (John); his grandchildren, Emily Fletcher (Paul) and Philip Hunt (Stephanie); his stepdaughters, Heidi M. Davis of Clearfield and Lindsay N. Johnson (Tyson); his stepgrandchildren, Grady and Eliza of Jersey Shore, PA; and his siblings, Charles A. Franson, III (Mary Ann) of Camp Hill, Martha K. Chambers (Philip) of Clarence, PA and Donald M. Franson of Bellefonte, PA. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
