Verna Thompson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2020, at the age of 87, Verna Thompson of Clearfield, Pennsylvania, born in Glen Richey, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice 'Dutch' and Olive Haney (Peoples); her husband Richard S. Thompson; her son Michael Dee Thompson; and her siblings, Joanne Wisor and Jerry Haney.
She is survived by: her children, Richard M. Thompson (Melissa), Vicki Jo Lansberry (Dusty), Joni Forman (Michael), Mark A. Thompson and Mary Kay Thomas (William); and her sister Joyce Shirey (Ardell). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, 30 4th Ave, Curwensville, PA 16833.
