She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Smith and Lucille Smith (Peoples); her husband Ronald Gormont; her brother Melvin Smith; and her nephews, Lynn Smith and Steven Kowalcyk.
She is survived by: her siblings, Donna Kowalcyk of Florida, Kathy Santaite (Dominic) of New Jersey and Kenneth Smith (Tawny) of Glen Hope. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
