She was predeceased by: her brother Jeremy Carlson; and her grandfather Donald Carlson. She is survived by: her parents, Mark Carlson and Lorraine McTavish (DeSimone); her siblings, Kyle McTavish of Clearwater, FL, James McTavish of Seattle, WA and Kayla McTavish of Altoona; and her grandparents, Nancy, Bill Marlock and Theresa Carlson. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
