It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Hess (Clearfield, Pennsylvania), who passed away on June 27, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mervyl Witherow and Celeste Hess. She is survived by: her husband Alfred P. "Pete" Hess Jr.; her sister Patricia; her children, Michael Hess, Susan K Hess Gilliland, Joeseph Hess, Fred Hess and Alfred P. "Peter" Hess III; and her sister Katherine. She is also survived by her children, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Francis Educational Endowment Fund 212 South Front Street, Clearfield, PA.
