He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harris and Margaret Harris (Fulmer); and his siblings, William, Richard Sr., James, Irene, Ruby, Margaret 'Peggy' and Shirley.

He is survived by: his children, Kristen Harris of Clearfield and Brandon Harris (Gerbeys) of Castle Rock, CO; his grandchildren, Eleanor and Maxwell; and his siblings, Kenneth, Daniel, Roy and Eleanor. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
