He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas L. McCartney and Dellaphine McCartney (Clark); and his siblings, Elizabeth Padgett, Mary Kathryn McCartney, Mary Dellaphine McCartney, Helen McCartney, William McCartney, Robert McCartney and Donald McCartney.
He is survived by: his wife Janice A. McCartney (Catino); his children, Susan Welker (Terry), Vicki Ragan (Dennis) and Richard McCartney; his grandchildren, Dan Ragan, Eric Ragan, Diana Clark-Ragan, Bryan Welker, Michelle Welker and David Welker; and his siblings, Mary Jane Crandell, Alice DelGrippo (Rocko), Margaret Proud, Patricia Shaw (Jan T.), John McCartney, Charles McCartney (Mary) and Thomas McCartney. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Francis School Scholarship Educational Endowment Fund, 212 South Front Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
