He was predeceased by: his parents, F. Cortez Bell and Emily Bell (Gaulin); his former wife Marjorie (Keast); and his brothers, F. Cortez Bell, Jr. and Thomas G. Bell.

He is survived by: his wife Suzanne M. Bell (Wise); his sons, Steven Bell (Betsy) of Annapolis, MD, Lawrence Bell (Mary Kay) of State College, David Bell (Christine) of Clearfield and Daniel Bell (Lonnie) of Clearfield; his stepchildren, Mitchell G. Leech (Jodi) of Connoquenessing and Stephanie Chudy of Clarksville, TN; his grandchildren, Maggie Bell-Walker (Ben), Katie Bell-Miller (Logan), Emily Bell, Matthew Bell (Megan), Megan Bell, Lauren Gutierrez (Mario), Alyssa Burtchin (Adam), Curtis Bell, Craig Bell and Jason Bell; his stepgrandchildren, Alexis, Taylor Leech, Daria and Alexander Chudy; and his great grandchildren, Holden, Grey, Christopher, Alessandra, Sophie and Asher.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to C.A.S.T. (Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre), PO Box 613, Clearfield, PA 16830; or The Presbyterian Church, 110 N. Second Street, Clearfield, PA 16830; or to the Joseph and Elizabeth Shaw Public Library, 1 South Front Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
