He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Gearhart and Annie Gearhart (Kiser); his wife Elda Mae Gearhart (Swisher); his daughter-in-law Mary K. Gearhart; and his siblings, Louise Caldwell, Betty Read, Stanley and Howard Gearhart.
He is survived by: his son Robert 'Petey Gearhart; his grandson Chad Gearhart (Kimberly) of Clearfield; his great grandchild Isabella Gearhart; and his brother Walter Gearhart (Jane) of Seminole, FL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Centre Grove United Methodist Church, 1100 Village Road, Clearfield, PA, 16830.
