With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary Zitzelberger (Clearfield, Pennsylvania), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Mullen and Mary Mullen (Morgan); her husband Charles Zitzelberger; her daughter Paula Barrett; her granddaughter Lindsay Motter; and her sisters, Christina Mullen and Margaret Howell.
She is survived by: her children, Charles'Rick''Zeke'Zitzelberger Jr. (Leslie) of Clearfield, Helen Howell (Colin) of Clearfield, Rita Crotzer (Dennis) of Clearfield and Katherine Motter (Robert) of Bellefonte; her grandchildren, Charles III, Christopher (Andrea), James, Mary Jane, Margaret Anne, Juliana (Tony), Marisa (Travis), Allison (Eric) and Andrew (Alexandra); her great grandchildren, Atlas, Rowan, Reese, Aidan, Anneliese and Olivia; and her sister Anne Hampton.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory (113 N 3rd St, Clearfield, PA 16830). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis Catholic Church (212 S Front St, Clearfield, PA 16830).
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Francis School, 212 South Front Street, Clearfield, PA 16830 or the Ronald McDonald House, 451 44th Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201.
