With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Helen Peterson (Clearfield, Pennsylvania), born in Bigler, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 31, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley A. Shimmel and Mary Francis Shimmel (Lumadue); her husband Henry A. Peterson; her daughter Martha Ellen Peterson Krulick; and her siblings, Emery Shimmel and Evelyn Graham.
She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Andrew J. Peterson (Lynnette) of Matthews, NC, David Peterson (Jill) of Rockton and Joel Peterson (Cindy) of Clearfield; her sisters, Pauline Shirey of Champion and Mary Jane Wisor of Accident, MD; and her son-in-law Thomas Krulick (Ursula) of Allentown. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Grace Reformed Presbyterian Church, 602 West DuBois Avenue, DuBois, PA 15801; or to the Joseph and Elizabeth Shaw Public Library, 1 S Front St, Clearfield, PA 16830.
