She was predeceased by: her parents, John D. Carson and Minnie A. Carson (Davis); her husband Richard W. "Dick" Peters; her siblings, Alice Ellis, Milford, Austin, Leslie, Melvin and Donnie Carson; and her stepgrandson Ronnie Heeman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Cowfer of Birmingham, AL and Mindy Little (Pat) of Philipsburg, PA; her stepdaughter Susan Heeman of State College, PA; her sons, George Sankey (Rita) of Osceola Mills, PA and Jeffrey Sankey (Kathy) of Buchanan, MI; and her sister Agatha "Markey" Kennedy (Lester). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces & nephews.
