He was predeceased by: his parents, Van Allen Braniff and Elizabeth Braniff Schultz (Casher); his son Scott Braniff; and his brother Colonel James Philip Braniff. He is survived by: his children, Kenneth A. Braniff Jr. (Jackie) of Hyde and Vicky Braniff (Lynn Harrell) of Raleigh, NC.; his grandchildren, Todd M. Braniff, Jennifer Sherman (Nick), Michael Braniff and Jordan Harrell; and his great grandchild Lorilei Sherman.
