With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Louis Soltis Jr. (Clearfield, Pennsylvania), born in Hawk Run, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 1, 2013 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John L., Sr. and Mary Soltis (Verost); his wife Norma Ara Wilsoncroft; and his siblings, Mary Howe, Margaret Stonebraker and James Soltis.
He is survived by: his children, Anna Marie English (David) of Emporium, PA, Amy Lynn Lockey (James) of Hawk Run, PA and John L. "Buddy" Soltis, III (Phyllis); his siblings, Josephine Soltis of Hawk Run, PA, Delores "Toots" Sudik of Hawk Run, PA, Marcella Hugney (Marvin) of Hawk Run, PA, Annetta Yingling (William), Joseph E. Soltis, Sr. of Philipsburg, PA and Edward Soltis (Barbara) of Hawk Run, PA.; his grandchildren, Thaddeus English of Elizabeth City, NC, Carissa E. Bailey (P. J.) of Wellington, FL, Melissa Soltis (Joe Donato) of St. Cloud, FL, Alyson Hokanson (Chris) of Culpeper, VA, Carl Barquist of Florida and John Barquist of Hawk Run; and his great grandchild Zander English of Elizabeth City, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
