John Hipps Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynn Hipps and Della Hipps (Johnston); and his siblings, Barton "Ted" Hipps, Harry "Bud" Hipps, Mary Thompson and Joyce Ann McCracken.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Hipps (Beth) of Curwensville, Linda Read of Clearfield, Lisa Barnett (Chuck) of Curry Run, Ron Hipps (Betsy) of DuBois, Gary Shaffer (Paula) of Curwensville and Tammy Kyler of Curwensville; his grandchildren, Brad Hipps of Grampian, Nicki Owens of Bigler, Steven Moore, Devin Moore of Curwensville, Katie Weiss of Clearfield, Zach Park, Donald Ross, Zachary Ross of DuBois, John Shaffer, Emily Shaffer of Curwensville, James Kyler of Waynesburg, Kyle Kyler of Cheyenne, Wyo, Allen Harchak of Harrisburg and Jenny Harchak of State College; and his sisters, Beulah "Boots" Hurd (Tom) of Clearfield, Theressa "Tessie" Johnston (James) of Curry Run, Marie Adams of New Bethlehem, Sandra Hipps of Hanover and Rebecca Schurr of Bells Landing. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family suggests memorial donations be made in Mr. Hipps' memory to the Bob Perks Cancer Assistance Fund, P.O. Box 313, State College, PA 16804.
